Easy to use water-based hybrid ceramic spray sealant
Simple Siramic Instructions for use:
Simple Siramic - Spray Sealant works best when applied to a clean, cool surface. By using the "two towel" application method, you will deposit the best film for the most effective durability. While there certainly are other ways you can work with our Spray Sealant, remember we're trying to get the best most durable film applied 1-2 times per year!
1. Wash vehicle well and dry completely. Park vehicle in shaded location out of direct sunlight to ensure a cool surface. Since Simple Siramic is loaded with reactive polymers, is it highly recommended to apply to entire vehicle working by working in areas approximately 2 feet by 2 feet.
2. Start with 2 clean microfiber towels, by spraying Simple Siramic - Spray Sealant onto one towel (let's call it the "application" towel and rub directly onto vehicle surface (again working an an area approximately 2 feet x 2 feet).
3. Immediately buff the product applied in Step 2 with a second dry microfiber towel (let's call this one the "buffing" towel), until visibly dry.
4. Continue to work your way around the entire vehicle (glass also if you want) in 2x2 sections. Once "application" towel becomes heavily saturated with product, set it aside. Your buffing towel is likely to be mildly wet with product, it will become your "application" towel, and you will grab a clean, dry microfiber towel that becomes the "buffing" towel. Continue with steps 2 and 3 until you have treated the entire vehicle.
5. It is recommended when possible to keep vehicle from getting wet for 24 hours (from rain, sprinklers or anything else) to allow Simple Siramic - Spray Sealant time to fully dry and cure.
6. The size of your vehicle or boat will determine how many clean microfiber towels you will need to apply Simple Siramic - Spray Sealant to the entire vehicle.
Things to remember and avoid:
- Applying in direct sunlight heats the vehicle surface up significantly. Leaving a bad review about the product being streaky in application leaves us no choice to assume you didn't follow the above instructions. We worked with the product A LOT in high temperature environments, on dark colored vehicles and we KNOW that it applies just fine under the recommended conditions.
- Simple Siramic - Spray Sealant can be applied to a clean surface that hasn't been fully dried, then rinsed and towel dried. This application method does allow for a thin layer of material to deposit on the surface. However, more product runs off when you rinse and during the subsequent towel drying process, so expecting maximum durability and longevity if you take this application approach is unrealistic. So if this is your "preferred" method, no problem. Just know going in durability and longevity will suffer, and you will to a certain extent be wasting product. We're happy to sell you more!

How do I achieve maximum durability? For absolute best results, surface preparation is the key. A good wash is the absolute minimum requirement. How many of these you pursue is for you to decide, based on your expertise, the tools and products at your disposal. Additional preparation steps to consider are: - bug & tar removal - clay treatment - mild polishing to remove old product residues, clear coat oxidation, etc. - panel prep, especially if you do a polishing step to remove those residues
Will Simple Siramic Spray Sealant fix paint imperfections? Let's be honest, the resulting layer of product will not be terribly thick. If your clear coat is cooked or your paint is visibly cracked, while we believe our product is great, it's not that "magical". Minor scratches from automated car washes may be a bit muted after application, but deeper scratches and scuffs typically require some amount of paint correction from a professional. However, the resulting layer of product IS THICK ENOUGH to provide exceptional hydrophobic behavior and durability.
What is the REAL durability of Simple Siramic Spray Sealant? It is common to continue to see high beading and hydrophobics for several months after application. Candidly there are a lot of factors that will impact the durability: - is your ride a garage queen (longer) or outside 24/7 (shorter)? - your surface prep is also a big factor (see above) - is your paint in very good condition (longer) or rough shape (shorter) before applying? - your washing behaviors, whether you hand wash with a pH neutral soap (longer) or you have an automatic car wash membership and wash 2-3x per week (shorter) will make a difference
Can I use Simple Siramic Spray Sealant over my ceramic coating? ABSOLUTELY! See the above comment about surface prep, but if your ceramic coating was applied in the past few months, a good wash should be all the prep you need. Simple Siramic Spray Sealant will lay down over your higher end solvent based ceramic coating, and help to extend its functioning lifespan.
Can I use Simple Siramic Spray Sealant more than 2x per year? What will happen if I apply more often? Applying more than 2x per year will result in a thicker functional layer of product, but will only have minimal impact on beading and gloss. If you're the person who wants the satisfaction of that gleaming more often, we will eventually be launching a quick detailer that can be applied once a month.
